Agreeing with Angie - as long as the underarm feels okay the jacket looks great Nice to see you too by the way :)

Jackets are always tight on me there - combination of bust and wide shoulders. It bothers me depending on what I would wear underneath - a light layer is one thing, but anything heavier will get more uncomfy. Leather may stretch, though!

I think the fit of this jacket is spot on Nancy - and I suspect that one slightly snug spot will loosen up. So glad you're keeping it!

I think it looks like it fits you quite well. If it feels snug under the arms, this may be a factor of it being a petite, as petites cut their armholes higher.

Thing is, your upper body -- from bra band up -- really does look petite. You are built very similarly to my DD#1, I think. She's not petite anywhere else but from bra band up. She also has narrow / sloped shoulders like you. And she's quite long through the torso. It can be frustrating finding tops for her, as if it fits under the arms then it's usually too short in the torso, or vice versa.

I'm also going to suggest perhaps you just need a bra update? I have this hunch a different bra would change the fit, particularly where you are finding it tight. Is your bra band hiking up in the back? If yes, what happens if you pull your bra down lower in the back? I'm suggesting this because I recently realized my bra was getting worn out and wasn't supportive enough... I replaced and it made a big difference in the way sleeker tops and toppers like this fit in the front.

Like Joyce says, wear the heaviest layer you would normally wear under the jacket and try driving. I have a leather jacket that was slightly snug right in the armpits over some layers when I bought it, and it loosened in that area a little bit -- so it's more in line with the snugness of the arms overall and I don't notice it. But it's still can be detected if I wear a thick sweater, so I usually opt for thinner under layers.

I would say, put it to the test to be sure of how it works for you. Take it for a drive for at least 20 minutes and wear what you would usually wear with it. Then you will know for sure about how it feels in the underarms.
In general, I like to have room for a thin to medium sweater or a sweatshirt under my leather jackets.
I would not expect the underams to stretch so be sure that they are good before you cut the tags.
Did you have two posts on this jacket or three? I think I may be missing one.

There is a wee bit of tightness, but it's not cutting. Just snug, and it's in one very focused spot right under the arms. I think I will keep the jacket and maybe wear it today! Thank you all, once again.

It's funny how even something like fit, which you would think is objective, is really very subjective. i could give many examples of the idiosyncrasies of my own body giving me no idea on what is a fit ideal (outside clear dealbreakers).

I think the fit is on. Crossing your arms is as much pull you can put on the back. If the tightness you feel at that spot is only slight, I think it will stretch and soften up. Great color on you!

I vote keep. Angie, is right. Leather will stretch a bit to conform to your body, especially when the leather gets warm. Some of the tightness in the arms may still be there, so be sure that you are ok with it.

I love it on you. I think the fit looks great in the back, and the unzipped front view is also fab. As long as you don't feel any *uncomfortable* tightness through the shoulders (and that may loosen up), I would keep it. Great color on you. I was eyeing this myself, but luckily it's sold out in my size so I'm not tempted

Would have been helpful to see it from the front and arms down, too. Then it could be better appreciated that strictness, where you point, but I see a good fit from the back. Think leather will stretch and take your body's particular shape with aging, but only you feel how strict is there, where you point.

....plus the third shot, where I'm pointing to the upper part of the armholes. This is where I feel a slight tightness. It's not a lot. Also, I would not be wearing this with thick or heavy items. Probably just t-shirts or button-downs.

The first shot has me folding my arms in front. The second is with arms down.
