I must investigate Comrags. Thanks for the brand intro/info. It’s 57 F here very unusual for June. So I think the cool weather is reaching all the way to central California. As for being “average height,” I am exactly 5’3.5” and I agree with Zaeobi - that .5” matters. ;-). I am always teased about being short by my boyfriend who adds 1.5” to his claimed height. They have bi-annual sales and if you are on their mailing list they send you a notice. Often there are only a few of each item on sale. I think I got the last skirt like this, and the last of my two piece dress (in Finds below) in the winter sale (there are tops left but not the skirt, I think...) During the bi-annual sale there is considerably more on sale than you see now...but stuff goes very quickly. A lot of stuff that is now in the regular price category was on sale during the big sale. Only barely petite at 5'4" -- but, well, I guess technically I qualify.. Below average height for sure. Sigh.... Sounds like the weather is grumpy all over!! But Tina, that is great news about the fires...really pleased if cool temps and wet can keep fire at bay. It's the last thing you need now!  I love Comrags! Their items are on the pricey side, but not terrible for a Canadian designer brand and if you catch a good sale (as I have, for all my purchases) they are within reason. (For example, this skirt was $70 -- a pure cotton-linen blend, resists wrinkling, and excellent for hot weather.) Their styles do not date. (This skirt is from a few seasons ago; hence the price reduction -- but they have been making skirts in this pattern with small variations for over a decade and will continue to use the pattern with new fabrics going forward. This version is more midi length than earlier ones.)  Angie, I will certainly wear the skirt with my low heeled sandals, if I ever get a chance to wear them again!
