I hand embroidered a bold design on the lower leg of a white pair. Embroidery was big back then, and I knew how to do it well. I also had a lemon yellow pair I loved, plus some blue jeans. I had the figure to pull it off. I'd have to lose about 20 lbs. and get rid of my tummy flab from my 4 kids to do that now. Yellow, navy, baby blue, military blue, seafoam green, all the colors, made by me to go with snug fitting turtlenecks, or knit tshirts in warmer weather. Worn with platform clogs or spectator oxfords or clunky sandals to my jobs in a bank and law offices.</p> <p>In winter I often added a "shirt jacket", had one that was darkest emerald green velveteen, yum! Another was military blue to match the pants, and that was paired with a paisley print nylon knit blouse. Think feminized leisure suit. Oh yeah.</p> <p>I have to say I loved the style - it made me feel tall and very fashionable.
