Four floors of it.</p> <p>And I bought - NOTHING!!! </p> <p>Ok, bearing in mind this is me, I bought "nothing." I got:<br /> - undies (2 packs of 3)<br /> - shirt for hubby<br /> - a cutting board set as a hostess gift<br /> - sneakers (more like sneaker-slippers) because my feet were hurting so bad I was limping on both feet! I actually love the sneakers, they are from Y3 and look like capezio dance shoes but with grommet and sneaker details.</p> <p>And share *this* triumph! I found whole RACKS of designers I love, looked through, nothing grabbed me, and I walked on - without regret or going back! I pulled a few things, evaluated, and PUT THEM BACK!</p> <p>This is a big deal for me. It's almost more fun than buying stuff! Because instead of buying "stuff," I made informed, empowered decisions... I feel like SUCH A grownup. And this current business trip to NYC coincided with a sample sale from one of my VERY favorite cashmere designers. Agh! Of course I had to go!</p> <p>But you know, after reading all about SYC and directed approaches to dressing, I really didn't want very much of what was on display! It was gorgeous and soft and well-designed - and I was able to say no to it. I used to be overwhelmed with greed at these sales. But this time I was able to evaluate everything to see if what I was choosing was a staple, or filled a wardrobe hole. And I left with only a few things!</p> <p>Seriously, thanks for the help, everyone! </p>
