I'm hoping retirement will be better in 2023 since 2022 was not the greatest. </p> <p>Apologies for posting this, but I need to vent a little about my year.</p> <p>As one who rarely got sick prior to 2022, the new year began in the emergency room after slicing my finger with my casserole dish, followed by some family issues, then the dreaded menopausal physical changes to my body (hence not wanting to post), and then a bad sinus infection in August, which was then followed by COVID in October. Also, I've noticed some lumpy nodules on my left finger joints which could be arthritis. I've had an xray done and am currently waiting to hear back from my doctor.&nbsp; Finally, my right knee with the MCL issue has come back to taunt me after15 years since my injury.&nbsp; I have an MRI scheduled in early December.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Can you say: "When it rains, pours?" LOL!!</p> <p>I'm hoping this&nbsp;won't effect my Portugal travel in January. Crossing fingers!!</p> <p>And thanks for letting me vent.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p>
