My neutral colors are black, gray and white with blues, greens and some purple/plums as the colors I mix in. I have 7 bottoms (2 trouser pants, 1 jeans, and 4 skirts) and the rest are tops or jackets that I mix up. I was wearing the jeans and one of the shirts when I counted so that would make 21 items. My shoe collection is very lacking. As a SAHM I pretty much lived in my converse and a couple of pairs of "sit down" shoes for special occasions. I bought a couple of pairs of flats and the trouser pants for work and am planning on building up little by little. I hope to buy one new item a month as I continue to build my wardrobe. I have been a member for just over a year and have learned so much from Angie and all of you. This next week I start the first job I have had in almost eleven years since being a stay at home mom. A year ago I would have been in a panic because I had nothing to wear and no idea where to start. Because of all I have learned I am confident and have been able to focus on what I'll be doing without having to worry about my wardrobe too much. It's not large (I just counted 19 pieces in my closet, not counting shoes and my 4 dresses) but it all works together and is slowly growing with things I love and that look great on me.
