kkards, this turned out to be a great tip for me. I have the middle weight shift, straight hips and a small butt, and I've been going crazy with pants sliding down. I have a hard time finding regular belts that I like and will work. I bought one in navy and it is great so far. I love the way it adjusts. Now I want some in several colors.

Years ago I bought an invisible belt--the plastic kind. Even though I soaked it and hung it outside in the sun for days, it still had that horrible chemical smell and I couldn't stand to use it. It had other flaws too.

So thank you for bringing this item to my attention!

It’s not just a rectangle thing! My hips render me about as far from a rectangle as you can be, but my pants slide down too, because waists are routinely too big. So I think these belts are very useful for a variety of body types. I have to thank Vivian for introducing these belts to the forum years ago.

Unless they are high-rise, my pants routinely slide down my hips - it's a rectangle thing - and the Hipsi is a lifesaver for me. I've recommended it here several times. I have two and always wear them with mid-rise pants, especially jeans. I like the adjustability, and I love the very flat profile. If you are untucked or wearing a fitted top, they don't poke out like a regular belt buckle would do. But if you tuck or semi-tuck, the buckle looks nice enough to show. I never calculate cost-per-wear, but if I did, I am sure I am in the negatives for both of these belts at this point. So glad it is working for you, kkards!

unfrumped --yes exactly re different rises....i was finding that as i started buying higher rises by belts had to much "hangover" and it was driving me crazy...but i still have lower rises....this belt was so easy to adjust...
TG--its not super stretchy, its just stretchy enough...
loved that i was able to wear a tee untucked one day with a pair of high waisted jeans, and then a semi tuck the next with mid rise jeans, with out adding bulk and having the belt get in the way--and bonus, my pants stayed up

I have one and I don’t wear it a ton, but it sure comes in handy for when I wear certain pants that tend to slide down my hips — it helps hold them in place while not creating any bulk under a thin or fitted top. It’s polished enough looking that I can also semi tuck with it. People argue you can do the same thing with a regular belt, but even my smallest belts have hardware that sticks out, or the leather creates a bulky line around the waistband. My belt is navy and I’ve thought about getting a black one too.

I bought one maybe two years ago and have never worn it. I suppose I don't know what the reason to have this belt really is - which is a little dumb, but....

I have 4 colors and 2 buckles. While a great belt can make a statement and elevate an outfit, I love the simplicity and versatility of these.

They aren’t particularly stretchy but have a clever hidden adjustment that works really well and enables them to be worn with high low and mid rise pants. And they stay buckled but open easily.

I wrote about why I like them here.

I have 4 beltaways and love them. It’s been over 5 years at least since I purchased them and I have had no problems. I have the original design, but there are more options now. They are cheaper than the Hipsi.

I have black and the kind of beige and I love them. I mostly rely on them for s smooth look with untucked tops because my pants have slight variations in rise hence the “ waist” measurement might vary enough to require different size belts.
I still use “ real” belts, but these are definitely wardrobe essentials.

this belt has been recommended a number of times on this forum, but I've always resisted buying it, some how $50 seemed like a lot for this item. and I wondered if it would look cheap and if it would really be as smooth and "invisible" as it claimed....well, I should have know that if fabbers were recommending it, it would be what, well, fabulous. I finally ordered it last week, it arrived on Monday, and I wore it twice this week...I ordered the navy, and now I'm going back and ordering the white and maybe the black
