It's a great flat spring boot. It would fit your casual lifestyle. It's not going to be your only spring shoe. You'll have your other very practical, demure, quiet shoes (did you keep those brown CH oxfords?). But then you'll have some fun shoes for the times when you need to kick it. Not every shoe in your life needs to be black or brown.
