They have this special snazzy, festive&nbsp;winter dressing quality&nbsp;I remember from great pieces from&nbsp;my youth... and maybe the color has something to do with it too.&nbsp;</p> <p>Sveta, yes it did! Here I am wearing with small heels but could totally wear with flats too, and will.&nbsp;</p> <p>Firecracker, I did try the sweater untucked, and even if it works, showing off the culotte was more appealing. The semi-tuck offers a special silhouette with higher waist garments, by falling and draping on the sides, which cleverly hides a bulging tummy. Because it does not show here, but&nbsp;I am temporarily going through a medical condition right now which balloons my&nbsp;belly. I did wonder if it wasn't supposed to be worn shorter, but part of why I love these culottes so much is the length. Getting them was&nbsp;definitively a good move. I feel they will get a lot of wear. I felt so good in them.
