It's kind of a relief that I can't find the earliest pictures hosted on Photobucket. I'm not sure how I stumbled on YLF except that I was trying to figure out how to dress when not at work (because you can't wear jeans/Dockers and button down shirts every day...yes, they made Dockers for women too.) I was a SAHM for awhile and that prompted me to up my fashion game--I was too old to dress like a twenty something and not young enough to sport the Juicy velour sweat suit/low rise-crop top look that was everywhere at the time.  It took me 5 or 6 years to figure out my style (after trying everyone else's) but I finally arrived at some point! </p> <p>Photo 1: (2010) Channeling Angie in the polka dot dress. Sweetpea tops that Angie recommended--closest fitting items I'd ever owned besides a leotard. The flower belt was another Angie thing--and on a tweed fit and flare. Those three descriptors were totally foreign to this girl pre-YLF.<br /> Photo 2: ((2010-2012) Combat boots--had to compromise with Miz Mooz since I couldn't get  the Angie DM to work on my short calves. Cons with bootcuts. My first pair. Light colored boots--also Angie inspired. <br /> Photo 3: (2014 or so?) Boyfriend jeans--I had arrived. These were and still are my go to style of denim because of they work with sandals, boots (stompy boots for the Urban Warrior Princess) and oxfords. <br /> Photo 4: (2015-2016?): A little more refined--this is where I ended up and have pretty much stayed. I do venture outside the box every once in awhile but I would say these represent my current style pretty well. </p> <p>It's been a fun ride. I've learned so much here on the forum.
