This has happened to me several times, when I see an item and fall in love, then try it on and realize it wasn't all that. Then I get it out of my system! This used to be easier before so much retail moved online; now stores are not as well stocked, especially in my size, so I need to order things and return if I want to try them. If it is less than perfect, let it go with no regrets. If it is perfect, then keep. If you don't try it, it may always be "the one that got away" - trying often cures us of of those things. My "I wish I'd tried it but didn't" was this Uniqlo jacket that sold out very quickly. In my mind it is perfect on me. How perfect is this piece? Color, material, fabric, weight...you get it. This type of jacket, in the wrong fit and fabric can skew dowdy. The right one divine. If you just like it and it’s not perfect then wait. If you try it on and it’s absoluteky perfect. Well lightening rarely strikes twice. You’ll. Certain find similar but then this might become the one that got away. KM’s jacket sounds unique, with very specific details. For me, it isn’t “exactly this new jacket”. There was another, more expensive one I posted last week that I also liked, because it was the same colors and tailored. Does being a common style this year mean it’ll still be around next year, or that I should get one while they’re hot? <b> Angie</b> and others who watch this kind of thing, what do you think? It reminds me of a Boden jacket from 2013, which was also nipped at the waist and made of a tweedy material with feminine and retro details (that particular jacket had a peplum waist). It was a bit above my budget and I had no real NEED for it, and I thought, OK, I'll plan and save and get it another time.
