This has been going on for 15 years, and I'm not new to the pain and healing. I know exactly what to do - after I've overdone it . Ongoing yoga is the only thing that really helps, actually. It's miraculous in that way, and I gain much relief after a vinyasa class. Soooo much better than OT and PT. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. You can probably skip the elevation, but definitely don’t let hand/wrist issues go unattended. No yoga for you for a few days! NSAIDs can be useful for initial relief.</p> <p>Have you assessed your ergonomic set up for you computer since your move? when I was a heavy desktop jockey, I used to switch my mouse to my left (non dominant) hand for most things and only use my right for fine detail work like graphics editing. It only took a few hours to get used to it and really help stave off some developing issues.
