It matches a surprising amount in my closet and holds just enough- phone, wallet, keys, mask, sunglasses, hand sanitizer. I recently added most of my wardrobe to the Stylebook app, so now when I want a new item I add it to the app and play around making outfits to be sure it works with the rest of my closet. This has been surprisingly helpful in curbing my impulse shopping.&nbsp;<div><br /></div><div>My former spring bag was the Kate Spade bunny bag shown. I love it, but I was always too nervous about scuffing it or messing up the ears and tail (yes, it has a full white puffy tail on the back!). The open detailed rose gold tote, for example, doesn’t get used in the winter, and the dark brown and black tote doesn’t get used in the summer. </p> <p>But for the last year I have been using the Minkoff backpack so much that it’s looking shabby. I like light colors for Spring like pale pink, aqua, mint or citron green, peach, or yellow, but my most used in Soring are metallics or pale tan or pale grey or black and white. Here are my current options....but the light grey leather RM needs to be dyed a darker colour due to stains, so it isn't really part of the equation any more. Which means I don't have to be too sensible and can just keep my eyes open for something fun, if it strikes my fancy! Love the idea of shade of green/emerald (thanks Brooklyn!), teal, which a few people mentioned and is always surprisingly versatile, or even pink or red. Which reminds me I have a small silky scarf in those colours which I could tie onto any of my neutral bags for a touch of spring, too. I almost always reach for my Patagonia fanny pack and wear it crossbody if I'm in an outfit that doesn't have enough pockets (rare in the winter). I could use my leather crossbody instead, but it feels a little stiff/hard-edged these days. It was my go-to for holiday parties and other rare events; remove the strap and it's a clutch. But I suspect those evening get-togethers may be a thing of the past for DH's workplace. I look forward to using my little lavender canvas circle bag again, so I guess maybe that's my spring bag? It gets dingy fast when everything is salty/sandy/slushy so I don't reach for it until late April/May. I’m on the lookout for a smaller belt bag, probably in a shade of brown. </p> <p>The backpacks, especially the desigual, don’t work well with bulky winter coats, so it’s fun to see them again. The green suede with guitar strap fits in color-wise. It is not a natural-born crossbody; I added the strap. It tends to be the big (for me) bag I carry in winter, so I cool off on it a bit this time of year. </p> <p>The in-between size of the Sak is awkward for me; I don’t carry it much. This one is synthetic. I chose it as maybe a stopgap in a favourite bronze colour but 18 months later it has suited all seasons and only got slightly worn on the straps.
