I love mine but will say it has the same lower armpit thing I run in to all the time, so since you are more petite than I, I'd check for fit first. Not exactly soft, buttery leather, but then mine is a distressed version with purposely ripped lining and all.

The leather jacket hunt continues. Muubaa is on sale and I am considering. I know others here like this brand - I did a search already. Please let me know your experience, what styles you liked, sizing (will it fit someone 5' tall), how your purchase has held up over time, what is the leather like, would it go with my aesthetic?

I did see a Muubaa in the wild recently, while shopping, I did not try it on as it was a large. The fabric seemed heavy-ish/stiff to me. I am looking for something super supple and lightweight -- NOT an outdoor jacket. Something -primarily- to wear as an alternative to blazers and cardigans indoors. A layering piece. For example that Vince jacket I considered recently (see my posts for pics) was absolutely perfect in regards to leather, I am not sure which one it was though - paper or lightweight. (because a few weeks ago I ran into what appeared to be the same Vince jacket again, different color, elsewhere, tried it on, did not seem to be the same leather- was heavier/stiffer).

But of course, fit trumps all. For the right fit, I could bend the rules.
