But at least it’s not still “real feel” in the triple digits anymore. This week I’ve pulled out some jeans and pants again on the cooler, rainier days, and my palette is getting darker and richer with the change of seasons. I pulled out some pastel shorts the other day and put them back in the bottom of the pile. All of our other days since school began (which is my recognition of autumn, despite what the calendar says) have been hot, humid and stifling.<br /> This morning the temp was 59 with the promise to jump to 79 by lunch time. My dress was lightweight and I was happy to wear a faux suede topper for a couple of hours. I wanted to wear booties, but couldn’t stand the thought of hot and swollen feet, so the ballet flats were the shoes of choice.<br /> #1 the dress<br /> #2 with the topper<br /> #3 the latest hair progress pic<br /> #4 piling on the happiness factors </p> <p>I am craving autumn, yet wonder if my outfit seems out of season on such bright, sunny and still summery days. Thoughts? Am I rushing things (just a tad)?<br /> Comments and suggestions are most welcome and appreciated. </p>
