The silly part is that I am always surprised again when it happens.  I should learn but I never do...... I also have extremely low volume feet. This means that I can do things like kick off my frye boots without using my hands. Back in college in the late 90's I was fond of wearing those huge, heavy black platform sandals and mules. One day I flung one halfway across a crowded restaurant and then had to make my way past tables and tables of highly amused diners to retrieve it. I was with my sister at the time and to this day she won't let me forget it. I've caught belt loops on door handles & been yanked back by them. And closed cloth coat belts in doors, which also involves me being yanked back by them. Between the buttons and the buckle on the belt, it gets me entwined in grocery carts  every time.  I am also known for wearing yoga pants inside out, getting my coat belts stuck in the car door and then dragging in the snow, getting ear bud cords caught on things  and ripped out of my ear, stepping out of shoes mid-stride, pinching part of my sweater or scarf (and only my best ones, never the ones I don't care about) into the seatbelt insertion  thing in the car , and a whole host of ungraceful and bumbling behaviour.  :)   Laura on "Technical Difficulties" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/technical-difficulties-2#post-1386247 Thu, 30 Oct 2014 21:55:30 +0000 Laura 1386247@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Ouch that sounds rough but that trench coat does look really good! I have worn clothes inside out or back to front, a couple of years ago I seemed to have a few things with different types of stitches and seams. And I have had a wrap top unwrap on me whilst out...luckily I was at the breastfeeding stage and nothing much fazed me. But it's definitely true -- wearing a new style can lead to a little awkwardness at times.  I have had to deal with the tights/ skirts issue more times that I would like to admit. Meow on "Technical Difficulties" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/technical-difficulties-2#post-1386062 Thu, 30 Oct 2014 16:30:22 +0000 Meow 1386062@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I wore my new trench coat for the first time running errands yesterday.   The Calvin Klein trench from Nordstrom has all the components I was looking for: removable lining, detachable hood, waterproof, classic style.  Of course I really wanted the Burberry but …..sigh.    All the cool girl bloggers seem to wear trenches and I had pinned many pictures on my Pinterest inspiration board.  My goal is to refine my very casual MOTG looks and a trench fits my rainy climate perfectly.   Of course DH said I look like Columbo but what does he know about cool girl style?  I stopped off at the grocery store and here’s where the technical difficulties started.  As I was unloading the groceries onto the conveyor belt thingy, the button on the coat sleeve got caught in the grid of the bottom of the shopping cart.  I had to lean over and use my other hand to reach down and free it.  Then, when I stood up the front buttons were caught in the side of the cart!  I was a tangled mess!  The man behind me started laughing.  Besides now having to find a new grocery store, I guess DH was right -except he got the wrong detective.  Instead of Columbo, I look more like Inspector Cluzo!  Have you had any wardrobe technical difficulties?
