It would lock up and I would have to unplug the laptop and take the battery out to reset it (restarting didn't work). I thought the keyboard went bad, so I ordered and installed a new one. Didn't work. Ran every antivirus/spyware/fix your computer stuff out there... in safe mode even... didn't help. Saved all my pictures and documents to external hard drive. Used recovery disks to reset my laptop to factory spec. Still didn't work.</p> <p>I've now resorted to using my laptop as a desktop. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse that I'm using at my desk. Hopefully when I have the money, I can buy a monitor for my desk. For now I had to cover up my laptop keyboard with paper so I would quit trying to use it.</p> <p>I'm going to work on getting caught back up and hopefully I'll start posting again. </p> <p>I don't like to spend a lot of time sitting at my desk though. It was easier when I could lay and the couch and browse/watch tv/ spend time with my SO all at the same time. Maybe I'll get a new laptop for my birthday in October... or for Christmas. :-p </p>
