Yes- it's correct. I also have to add that I love the app! And am not the only one as I saw a lot of Realtime posts pop up recently. Can't wait for the app to expand, I am addicted to my iPhone :D!

Thanks, Greg - so all phone posts are realtime, but not all realtime posts are from a phone, is that right?

Mainly I was just trying to figure out what the purple color on the post counts was supposed to 'mean' - I gather now that it means it's a realtime post, but unread. At least I hope I've got that right.

rhubarbgirl, the reason for this is simply that the iPhone app is currently focused on Realtime posts. So it can only create realtime posts, and only read realtime posts. We wanted to start with one aspect of the forum and Realtime is obviously the area where giving or getting feedback on the spot is most relevant.

A future update to the app will expand its scope to all categories of the forum. This will be free to people who already have the app.

In the meantime we will probably see a few Realtime posts from the iPhone that are not strictly realtime.

BTW, we go into this in a little more detail in the blog post: http://youlookfab.com/2011/05/.....app-store/

From what I reckon, new never-opened realtime posts are purple, once you open it, it gets the 'usual' coloring - dark gray for unread responses and the light gray for no new responses. It seems the computer and phone generated realtime posts look the same to me!

I'm noticing that the post count for the posts that people posted* via the iphone app are purple rather than the usual colors for read or unread. Is this on purpose? Are realtime posts that don't come from the phone app also purple? Is there a distinction between a read realtime app and an unread one?

I'm curious because my brain finally got used to the unread/read/new messages coloring but now I'm skipping over the phone posts because I think I've read them.

(*could I write the word 'post' more in a sentence? I think not. That would be adjective, noun and verb, if anyone's keeping track. Oh, English.)
