Those *frizzys* are not broken or damaged hair. It is the hair you notice along the outer perimeter of you hair that's stand away from your scalp. these hair are particularly noticeable in humidity and after shampooing, when the natural oils are absent and there is not enough weight to keep them down...they are just younger hair s, replacement through natural shedding. Something about the weather causes them to stick out all over the place. I doubt it's because of damage based on your description.
