Does Florida have a limit on the cost of the item? Texas has a tax-free weekend but clothing items have to be less than $100.

I've gotten price adjustments before, but this a tax thing. It may not work, because Nordstrom probably already paid the tax to the state of Florida.

Thanks for weighing in Rae. I'm not sure if it's over 2 weeks or not - the time from online order to delivery skews my memory of when they were ordered.
When you say widely available, do you mean in store or online? He has to order online all the time because he is slim and his size isn't always on the floor.

Hm, if the previous purchase was within 2 weeks, they may do it as a price match. They may still do it for you to be nice if the same pants are still widely available in the same size/color (i.e. if they didn't miss out on selling them to someone else at full price). If you have a nice SA that you like, it doesn't hurt to ask!

BF and I are heading to Tampa on Sunday to get his pants hemmed and check out some NAS shoes for him in person. It's tax free weekend in FL and I'm wondering if they would credit his pants, kind of like a price match, since he could theoretically return them and re-buy them tax free that day? Or is that a stretch? Because if so, he'd save a LOT on the Canali sportcoat he got along with the pants!
