Joy, one thing I do know is that I am able to wear higher pairs of her heels for a bit longer than other brands. I love those red shoes, but if that beige pair is a good color for you you could get a lot of wear out of them.

Another thing to consider: if you do decide to order them and they don't work, you may be able to sell them on eBay for more than you bought them for...just a thought.

Are you near a store with any Taryn Rose shoes to try on for size?

Oh, dear, that makes things more complicated. I just had a look at the heels I have currently and I have an old but basic comfortable pair in a color close to the one I was considering. I was looking for red and love the look of these:
http://www.6pm.com/taryn-rose-.....ple-patent
but can no longer wear heels that high. thenI saw these:
http://www.6pm.com/taryn-rose-malia-beige-patent
with the right heel and a go-with-everything nudish color. They are the ones I was planning to order, but maybe it's best to hold out for the right small heel in red. The prices are very tempting considering the original cost, but if the fit isn't right it's not worth it.
Maya, I see your point about the shoe shape. Those yellow patent are very cute. The strap would probably hit at a bad place for me and cut into or rub the foot, even if the toe box were rounder.

Also - a note on the sizing. I am NOT a 9.5. A 39.5 is not a 9.5, but frequently stores say it is. I wear an 8.5 pretty consistently, and I almost always take a 39.5.

I do have a couple pairs of Taryn Rose, and I'm usually a 39.5. It's pretty consistent for me, but they have been similar heel heights. However, I do think some of her quality has dipped. AND, based only on trying them in the store, like Marianna, I have not found the Taryn by Taryn Rose shoes to be at all comfortable.

The prices at 6pm for Taryn Rose are pretty incredible. I'd follow Maya's suggestion.

I'd just get both and return the pair that doesn't work. Both pairs may not work, to Marianna's point. Taryn Rose has somewhat deviated from the mission of providing orthopedically correct shoes, unfortunately. Their older styles have a visibly different shape than some of the newer ones, and all of them used to have arch support. Now she seems to just tack on a bit of poron in the footbed like so many other brands.

I adore these shoes, but they aren't going to be any more comfortable than a less expensive pair.

http://www.6pm.com/taryn-rose-breeze-yellow-patent

Contrast to this, which isn't nearly as pretty, but is the right shape for a foot:

http://www.6pm.com/taryn-rose-.....nappa-silk

Janet, 6pm.com has a sale of many styles of Taryn Rose, not just heels, for $69.95 with $6.95 standard shipping. I got my LC boots there last month and was very pleased.
Here is a link to the shoes:
http://www.6pm.com/search/brand/639/filter/

I'm still not sure which size to get and maybe should just get both. My feet are an average width.

I have a pair of Taryn by Taryn Rose flats. I paid an absurd amount for them and they are NOT comfy. They are worth a try, but make sure you can return them if they don't work out. They ran true to size for me.

Joy,
Yes, I have 2 pairs of Taryn Rose. I'm between an 8 and 8.5. I got them both in size 8. One is Taryn by Taryn Rose, and they are a little snug -- I would have been better off in 8.5. The other is the regular Taryn Rose line, and the size 8 (or equivalent) fit great.

Which site has the Taryn Rose today?

I have a pair of Taryn Rose flats and they are a 6.5. If I had narrow feet I would probably have to size down as they are just a wee bit big, but since I have wide feet, they did not feel big enough to size down.

I don't know if that really helps since you are looking at heels and a totally different style, but that was my experience.

I'm seriously considering ordering some Taryn Rose low heels from an on-line sale today, but have never tried these shoes. My feet run between 2 sizes and I'm wondering which to order. Has anyone tried these? Are they reasonably comfortable? any size advice?
