I do wear light jackets almost year-round, so, to me, this looks like a wear-indoors piece in the fall &amp; winter that could be worn under an overcoat for additional warmth, then worn as a jacket when the weather is warmer. Good point about being seasonally-appropriate! I may be crossing that line, because I do wear a similar weight fleece sweater/jacket year-round--it's practical, but it's what I've heard called "gear" here.
