Hmm, but Cello has broad shoulders and mine aren't. T&S had an online body shape test, but now it's gone: I got Cello on that one when I entered skinny calves and Hourglass when I entered curved calves with skinny ankles. I think it wasn't very accurate and that's why it disappeared.

Actually, the difference between my upper body and my hips isn't that big, but my thighs are disproportionately large and that's why I have pear in my profile

Have you considered Cello? From your original body type post, I thought you were more evenly proportioned than a bell...

Umm, I wasn't actually writing about skinny jeans, but about my leg shape - they just look that way Sorry if my previous post was a bit unclear. But thanks anyway.

Trinny & Susannah in their "Body Shape Bible" write about shoes that look good with specific body shapes. I'm probably close to their Bell, as it's their only short-waisted and pearish type (although Bells are said to be petite, I'm ignoring this right now). Supposedly, Bells should wear cone heels:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/fem.....--you.html
and hide their legs in wide, dark bottoms:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/fem.....types.html

I'm probably overanalysing again :/

Magda, I suspect the style of heel is dictated more by the individual foot and ankle than by the pants you're wearing, though I could well be wrong on this. I know people with thicker ankles are discouraged from wearing kitten or stilletto heels, just because it's a disproportionate look and can give someone the effect of tottering or falling over on their heels. I'm one of those thick-ankled people, and I pretty much always stick to wedge or stacked heels regardless of what bottoms I pair them with.

I also wear skinnies and have curvy thighs, they need to be paired with either a tunic top or a voluminous shorter top. I wear flast and heels with them x

I think a key factor in this look is actually where one's top hits. I have curvy hips and thighs and I need to have a longer top to account for that. Heels help, too.

Tapered legs. Carrots or sharpened pencils. You know, large thighs and much smaller ankles. My nightmare. Clothes are something I can handle, but I'm wondering about shoes. Do stilleto heels balance this particular leg shape, or enhance it? What about chunky heels? Platforms? Wedges?

I wear higher shoes whenever I can, because they look good and add some precious centimetres to my average height. I know that I should avoid ankle straps and round toed shoes, but the heels are more interesting to me right now.
