I love this outfit, especially the red bag, leather jacket, and scarf. I need a neutral color scarf like that; most of mine are some sort of blue and don't go with everything. The top is adorable too.

If "fabber" isn't a word, we should make it one.

I love the leather jacket, I wish I could find one just like that but in pleather or something (since I try to avoid real leather other than shoes). I echo Christie's sentiment, very Italian. All you need is a little red or cream Vespa and you'd be set!

I am always in envy of your outfits. Your style seems to be right in line with mine, although the clothes you have are much fabber (if that is a word). Yesterday's photo (the leather jacket) was so Italian. You would fit right in walking the streets of Rome.

Thanks Ana. That does make sense. So you're saying, for example for this particular outfit, if I wore red shoes with it than the black leather bag might be still OK.

I think it would be okay if you were very purposeful about the outfits you chose (ie, make it look as if you are purposely trying to make everything match--only use 2 colors, etc), and if you added bright shoes instead of a bright bag, that might make it more interesting. Does that make sense?

Thank you all.
A for the leather/bag issue, I'd never wear suede with suede and patent with patent. But since I have so few bags and I won't be getting any new ones soon ( the ones I like are waay out of my price range and the ones that are in my price range are not to my likingl, I don't know why but I won't buy pleather); I was wondering how bad would it be to wear black leather bag with black leather jacket or tan leather bag with brown leather jacket? I know it's not ideal, I was just hoping that I could get away with it without it looking too bad.

Superb! I'm a biker girl. Love the jacket with the red bag. This is my type of look. All I’d do is throw in chunky Chanel pearls.

I echo Ana's taste level with respect to bag and jacket leathers and colours. I'd personally keep the handbag leather different to the leather on the jacket. Too matchy-matchy otherwise. What you’ve done is perfect. But it's a matter of taste.

I think that it makes sense not to wear the same kind and colored leathers next to each other. I actually like the idea of same color but one in suede and one in leather.

Love your outfit especially the bag!

I was just going to say the red bag makes it before I read the rest of your post. It's a cute outfit and the red bag plays a big part in that.

I really like that outfit. I think the red bag adds a lot. I would personally stick with a bright bag to go with the black leather jacket, but that could be my personal taste. Since you've kept the whole outfit very neutral black and cream any bright color would look great. Other good choices would be yellow or cobalt blue, but red is a classic with that color combination. If you want to stay with a black bag, I think any type black leather bag would be okay, but maybe for interest, a patent leather one would be best. I don't like the look of a suede jacket with a suede bag, or a patent jacket with a patent bag that are the same color--it's just too matchy matchy.

Today's was black&cream with my red patent bag and my new chunky cream h&M necklace.
http://s300.photobucket.com/al.....ly-oufits/

I have a question on what bags go with suede/leather jackets. I've read somewhere that if one wears knee-length leather skirt with knee high boots, the boots should be suede and vice versa, you don't want two of the same things next to each other, it's too much. Does the same apply to bag/jacket combo? If my jacket is black leather does it mean that i should not wear it with black leather bag, but black suede one or colorful leather?
