I've never gotten my feet stuck in skinnies, but my skinnies are definitely less narrow at the ankle than they can be for smaller people with smaller feet (mine are 'just' 10s). Maybe because I wear a larger jean size it hasn't been a problem?

Loft has a high rise cut right now with a longer rise that might work for you (see Find below). Also, do you know about Long Tall Sally? Their stuff is actually too long for me, but since you're 6'1" and need longer rises too it might be worth trying.

The blog Fashion for Giants might be worth following, too. Gracie wears skirts and vintage a lot but she also mentions shopping resources on occasion. http://fashionforgiants.blogspot.com/

You could also look for a high rise style that comes in long lengths -- the length might end up the midrise length you're looking for.

Wow! Thank you so much for your quick help! I'm not super tall (6'1") but tall enough that 32 is too short. The problem I find a lot is that the length of the leg is longer, but the rise remains the same. I can barely sit down! Do any of you have trouble getting your feet (mine are a rather long size 12!) into the skinnies? I bought them once and struggles for TWENTY minutes putting them on! lol! I don't want to get up early enough for that, so back they went. Thanks again and I will check out these options!

Try the Gap Resolution Slim Straights in 31L - I think those are about a 34" inseam (could be 33.5 or 34), although the Gap web site size guide doesn't list that particular model clearly. They are a mid-rise, and a touch more toward skinny than what I would think of as straight. Several nice dark washes to choose from. If you find that inseam isn't long enough, you can order them in Tall, which are generally 2 inches longer. If you don't like the Slim Straight cut, they also have a 'Real Straight' and a 'Long & Lean' cut that are midrises, but I find they fit differently depending on the specific fabric, so they can vary by wash.

Adding onto Carole's suggestions, I also just found out that Jcpenney has talls online in a lot of their brands, including Liz Claiborne. Kut from the Kloth also often runs 33-34" and is available at Nordstrom and Macy's. A lot of my jeans are Eddie Bauer; they have a couple of tall options in most of their jeans online, and several cuts/fits too.

Apparently a lot of the higher end jeans brands also tend to run really long in the inseam. That's not an area I buy a ton in since I'm a size 16, so I'll let others chime in there.

Ps...i will check online to see what styles are available in tall lengths then head to the store to try on the various styles to check for fit.

Hi Marija! I have the same inseam and wear a size 10...I have good luck at Banana Republic, Gap, Express, Loft, Ann Taylor and American Eagle. Banana Reoublic sometimes has longer inseams in store but you can order Talls online from all of these stores. Good luck!

Does anyone have suggestions for tall jeans out there? I just do not have time to go searching. I'm between a 10 and 12 and need a 34" inseam. They must be a mid rise as well. I prefer a dark wash. I also do not appreciate skinnies because (don't laugh) I can't get them over my huge feet. Dressing simply cannot be this much of a struggle for all I have to get done in the morning! Thanks for your advice!
