The only exception is with my Report booties, which I also wear in slightly warmer temperatures without socks. They are padded on the tops inside so can be worn this way with comfort and the wide opening allows air to circulate. Otherwise, in my climate of extremes, it just doesn't work to wear booties without tights....it is too cold! I do not own black booties - I own black shooties and wear them both with bare legs and with hose. Black booties require a more shapely leg when you are blonde - which you have!
