I've seen a lot of the midi skirts in stores styled with this kind of boot. That said, I can't wear thigh height of boots, either indoors or out, so I always stick to flat or low heeled boots. I remember that in Canadian winter she would wear snow boots only to her office where she kept a variety of tall boots to change into for indoor wear. I thought it was pretty smart.
