I returned my Pettys because even though they were a good match for my&nbsp;slender feet, I thought the footbed was unbearably hard and uncomfortable. The arch support wasn't great, either. You might have some luck with adding an insert, as long as it doesn't cause the bootie to fit too tightly across the top. They are not cushy, but have room for a (drugstore gel) insert (pretty sure). The toebox was wide enough for me, and I have pretty severe bunions on both feet. (I tried the Pettys and they hurt my feet, so sad about that.) These might be too wide in the heel, but possibly worth a look if you are near a store that sells&nbsp;Clarks. The Bay also has a pair online (rarely in the Store), but you can order online and return to the store. This way you would know your sizing. Hope that helps. I always wear a 9 1/2 and have I have a terrible bunion that limits greatly my shoe choices. I LOVE my Pettys and have the black and putty suede. The 9 1/2's fit fine and are quite comfortable, even for me. I wouldn't say the footbed is particularly comfortable but if I can wear a stylish shoe or boot and not have in hurt my feet, I am all in. The ones I bought were a 10 and stretched at the store and that made them good for me.
