Pairing booties with pants/jeans is NOT effortless LOL. Different shaft heights, fits (loose, tight) coupled with the vast array of pant lengths and widths in style now makes choosing the right kind of booties difficult *and* expensive (because you need more than one).

Those booties in herb just came back in stock in my size, so I have ordered them to try. I also ordered those pants early in the sale.

Thank you for the replies -
The Cat - I suppose this is one of the times when I need to try on different booties with different pants and just see what looks right to my eyes.
UmmLila - I hadn't thought about the shaft height with these booties. I will pay explicit attention to that when I'm trying booties with pants.

It's funny that one of the things I like about the booties with jeans look is how effortless it looks. lol.

The style which UmmLila suggested can look very sleek and flattering.

However, people seem to wear all kinds of boots with jeans these days (and look quite ok), so there are lots of possibilities. I think your choice should be based on your personal style preferences.

I like these boots a lot. However I think if you're wearing cropped or cuffed, you might be better off with a sock boot that goes up under the edge of the jeans.

I see lots of people wearing boots like these with jeans, so most probably these boots will be fine on you too. They are classic, chic and have clean lines, which means that you will likely be able to wear them with many different outfits and for a long time - at least if you remember to use a protective spray.

I am a bootie newbie, but have admired the look on others and would like to have a pair to wear casually with jeans in the fall. I purchased the Aquatalia Francos in herb as my first attempt this fall at finding "my" bootie. They are very nice booties. But my question to you wise folks is "are they too "dressy" for jeans?" In a way they look kind of delicate to me. I mostly wear jeans with the let out hem or ones with rolled up cuffs (like the ones below), with the odd wearing of bootcuts. I would appreciate your thoughts on how to decode which boots work with this look.
