They were very, very cool and well made, but like Lisa P says, not a truly comfortable shoe. Not ouchy, but perhaps a little narrow and a little hard soled (I never owned the bouncy rubber-soled styles).&nbsp; There is a store in Chicago and I shopped in the Montreal store when on vacation there.</p> <p>That said, the pair pictured is TO DIE FOR. It's worth trying them on in person if you can, but if not, their online sales reps are really helpful. My normal size is 10N and I've owned their shoes in sizes ranging from 9.5 to 11! I've had many Fluevogs over the years, but have sold all but two pairs, which I've hung onto. I don't wear them often, but when I do I really enjoy them for their great looks and comfort. Their customer service is quite good — I think you can easily contact them about any style and get specific advice about fit and support. I’ve had very friendly interactions with them in the past, but it’s been a number of years. Hopefully they are still that responsive. </p> <p>I still have two pairs from many years ago — Curvy heeled black booties that fit closely around the ankle, which work great with dresses and skirts should I need that (they are rarely worn but I keep them just in case), and flat pointy-toed black boots that work with bootcut jeans — those are a little beat up but work well for times when I am going to a rock show or something and don’t want to worry about scuffing or messing up my shoes.
