The pleats flaring out, making the skirt indecently short is exactly my concern. I decided to wait for Asos to come out with either a sale or coupon code (or both if I'm lucky!) and then try it out since there's really no harm in it. </p> <p>Also someone has made me aware that H&amp;M is selling black leather pleated skirts like this so I may hop on over there in the meantime so I can get a better idea of how the shape will work on me. </p> <p>Thanks again! I love the idea of it but it widens even the slimmest body. However, if it turns out to fit you well, I think you could make it work as long as the hem is kept short to show your great legs and avoid the look of excess bulk.
