I actually quite liked how it looked. Because the boot and the sock are both black, it didn't feel like a little-girly anklet, and also these socks are sheer with a little sparkle, so they are definitely grown up. I really liked the look.</p> <p>Smittie, these for me are definitely at the dressier end of casual. They have sharp lines and feel very pulled together. I would wear them with a dress but not a really dressy dress, if you know what I mean. Not that I go very dressy that often. Or ever, really. haha. Neither Zara boot was right for me and I ended up keeping (and loving) the Madewell Jonis. It's been a warm November so I wore them out with bare legs. Both DH and I are putting in such crazy days that we went out for pizza, came home, and fell asleep at 8:30. So glamorous!</p> <p>Really happy with this outfit. </p>
