I tried several items and bought two- the black moto (hi, twin!) and the black and blue top in #4 of your first group. I love the blue/black combination, the fluid fabric and the interesting, architectural back. This is the top I wore out last night with a black tube skirt and pointy shoes. I got the same top in black, but at home I decided to keep the blue one. Then I got the b/w top with the Brooklyn bridge (your store may not have had this one?), I'll keep that one as well. It looks great on its own, but will also serve as a graphic, layering piece.&nbsp;The yellow taxi silk top will go back. Even though I really love it, I don't think it's versatile enough, being such a statement piece. I bought the moto jacket in both colors, black and light beige, but have decided to keep the black one. My wardrobe needs a black topper. With the 30% off coupon I had, the pricing ended up being really attractive for such wonderful pieces. The me of 5 or 10 years ago would have loved all these pieces, but these days I am not wearing that much black anymore. Got there pretty early so they were still putting out things from the stockroom. In fact, I grabbed a load of things, took them to the fitting room to try on, and by the time I was done there was a whole 'nother display of additional items. So maybe there's even more I didn't see...</p> <p>Almost the whole collecton is black - very New York - with touches of cobalt blue, grey, and taupe. In general I thought the construction was quite good - in contrast to what we'd been talking about the other day with the Altuzurra collection @ Target and other similar collabs. Most of the fabrics were synthetics, of course, but nothing too ridiculously plastic-y. Everything is available in XS - XL, with some of the dresses in number sizes - usual Kohl's fit, i.e. runs big.</p> <p>Here are pics of some of the items, some of which are not the greatest quality (lighting in the Kohl's dressing room is not the best ever, shocker).</p> <p>1/2/3 - print shift dress with mesh neckline detail and working zipper features at hem<br />4 - faux-layered cobalt and black top, also available in all black<br />5/6 - sweatshirt with a faux fur esque panel in front<br />7/8/9 - ponte leggings with mesh detail on sides, also available in charcoal<br />10 - this tube skirt and the sweater below were made out of this layered-look sweater knit with a really nice hand. <br />11/12 - this shape didn't work for me but if you're looking for a long sweater for this fall I would recommend this. Sort of boyfriend crossed with Chanel.<br />13/14 - sweater knit dress with a 'print' panel in front. I was disappointed that I was between sizes in this.</p> <p>Part 2 coming up! </p>
