(That includes bras and shoes but excludes tailored jackets and coats.) It's a good rule of thumb that serves me well!</p> <p>My favorite is #2-3 because those boots are *phenomenal* with your coloring and the overall look seems cool and easy to my eye. I also really like the line of the jeans with the boots in #1.</p> <p>My SYC is going about the same as yours! Mixed results. I pushed myself to wear a very old top yesterday (patterned Boden in finds below) that I like on the hanger but don't love on me, and decided it wasn't meant to be: item worn, lesson learned; I will be passing it on. But then I wore effectively the same outfit today, with the same blazer but switching out that top for a navy tee and adding my new printed scarf, and I was really happy with it. Although I don’t usually mind repeats, I found this method was a struggle for me. The photos are out of order.</p> <p>The outfit formula was the same: pullover, jeans (or cords), topper, boots. I worked from home except for a couple hours each day when I had to run kids or errands. </p> <p>The cords started out too short, but ended up about an inch longer by the end of the day (I wore them two days in a row). I think the color difference between the green/blue fuzzy sweater was too similar to the blue/green t’neck when worn on consecutive days. </p> <p>Favorite outfit of the week: bootcuts with the curly coat. </p>
