To answer your question, for this week I did, but I usually just do an at-home mani on Sundays - I switch between colour, neutral and clear polish depending on my mood. I usually use Essie or Sally Hansen products, but my cousin started selling Colorstreet and I am quite impressed with the lasting power (and the zero dry time!). So I'll throw that into the mix too. It's a pain to have to order it as I'm very mood-based with polish, but there you go. For the SYC, I decided to do a different theme each week, based on the adage: "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without". This week was "use it up", so I made a point of playing with different lip colours and nail colours as a way of "accessorizing" my outfits differently. (note: the post not sponsored by Clinique lol - I just happen to have a whack of new products from them courtesy of DH at Xmas. Also, full disclosure, my camera has a soft filter on it which auto-adjusts; you can see the difference e.g. between photo 9 and 11, which is more 'true')</p> <p>1: Today - Mulberry Munich (Colorstreet) nail colour. An early start today and some cleaning and house stuff, so I haven't bothered with playing with makeup today<br />2 - 4: Thursday - Annoyed with cuffed pants, so I just hacked the ends off; Clinique Plum Pop lippie, and my new coif<br />5 - 7: Wednesday Grey Suede nail polish (my nails are a mess as I just had shellac removed); Clinique Broadest Berry (love this one)<br />8,9: Tuesday going for a 90s inspired look which I didn't capture well on the photo - but a brown/nude lippie and I slapped on a warm brown eyeshadow too. Bad hair and gear top as I had a yoga class<br />10,11: Monday stripes and bright pink lippie</p> <p>It was fun to play with different colours (although the differences may be subtle) and such an easy way to change things up. I used to love playing with makeup when I was youngers, so it was nice to tap into that side. Too bad I am limited with eye makeup due to eczema issues, but I made up for that in nail polish.</p> <p>Next week: wear it out! I am planning to wear items that I tend to 'save' for dressier (for me - still relatively casual/smart-casual in general) occasions.
