It is where Auckland’s first David Jones has opened, a big Australian department store chain which has expanded to NZ. I had been vaguely looking out for a bronze bag for a while, since I had been mad on bronze for over a year by then. It is hard to find the SAME bronze, but this more muted bronze actually seems to go well with silver and gold as well. And it was on sale too! I donated the cognac bag yesterday.<br /> I don’t have to get a designer bag, I have never actually owned one but am attracted to some of the Kate Spade quirky designs. And have realised that since I mostly wear the same one every day, then CPW would be good. Why can’t any of them have outside pockets??<br /> I think February is likely to be a similar heat to January Rachy so I feel I may wear similar things? The new bag is not quite as roomy as the old one but looks slightly fancier. It has the all-important outside pocket for my car keys and garage door opener. I am disappointed that no designer bags seemed to have this when I looked at Auckland airport, Changi airport and Auckland’s new David Jones. Thank you Nemosmom for the SYC challenge. I didn’t even get those undies I was thinking about- that site ( Ezibuy) has a 40% off site- wide sale several times a year and I am not in desperate need, they just had some different colours in the Sloggi Triumph brand that I like. I prefer to pay less than their regular $35 for 2 pair if I can.<br /> Decided to check how many items I wore. 14 tops, 1 dress, 1 tunic, 8 pair pants, 2 pair shorts, 6 cardigans, 1 jacket, 14 pair shoes. It was hot summer with only a couple of cooler days, the cardigans were mostly light summer ones and were only put on for short times.<br /> I clearly feel happier at work in pants. I do have to get down to-or on-the floor sometimes to examine kids or knees!<br /> Of course I did buy the new specs, it is 4 years since I last did that.<br /> Only one clothing discard, the cropped navy pants with the little threads poking out the weave. Also started using new bronze bag bought last year and will donate the cognac leather one after 3 full years of almost daily wear.<br /> I am not committing to a no-shop year like some but will stay under 30 for the year like the past 3 years. And hope to slowly reduce the size from 160-something to 150.<br /> 1-2 new bronze bag bought Oct 2019<br /> 3-4 old cognac bag bought Oct 2016 </p>
