(Thank goodness)&nbsp;It's a hysterectomy because I have a big bunch of uterine fibroids. My GP took an EKG as part of my pre-op clearance (my blood pressure was up a bit), and that showed an abnormality.&nbsp;<br /><br />Since then, I've discovered my sister has had the same thing turn up in an EKG a few years ago, with no follow-up. Everything *should* be OK. The abnormality is a very common one that does not necessarily indicate deeper problems, but I guess they need to play it safe before putting me on an operating table!&nbsp;<br /><br />Thanks again for all the well wishes. Amazing. The heel height is perfect. And of course they got lots of compliments.
