I've been off the wagon about once every month (hmmm, where does PMS tie into that?!), most recently for the j. crew tomato jacket. However, I haven't kept anything but the navy Gap jacket so far. I am amazed that anyone is still in - it has been such a struggle for me. Marley seems to be the only one who has not caved in at all!

Bummer on the jean mix up, Khris. Good luck with the gym tops. I started buying Adidas running tanks at TJ Maxx on sale and always using a sports bra rather than search for the perfect fit built in shelf bras anymore. They're hard to take off once you get all sweaty, anyway!
Kim, you're a rock star! Only 2 weeks to go; smooth sailing at this point. We won't tell the husband (ssshh).
Lisa, I can see where your business wear is like my fitness gear - you need it but you don't really consider it FUN shopping lol. Enjoy your coming spring purchases!

I'm still shopping my budget. When my ebay David Kahn's came, they were black instead of blue- so I returned them. I need to start looking for new tops for the gym, but I find them difficult to find. My current ones have to be layered over a basic tank to cover my new sports bra, but that will be too hot soon. Plus, they are just getting too big. Still waiting for bras and jeans to pop up on ebay, too. But I am having fun remixing pieces since the weather has warmed a bit.

We are only 2 weeks away from finishing, I can hardly believe it! I have bought 2 tops a belt and a scarf since January 1. I haven't worn the tops they are for summer, so I'm calling my "Shop Your Closet" pretty much a success for me, since I've only worn what was in there when we started.

Now I know I don't really *need* clothing, but I do *want* some...A great difference! I don't have a closet full of "nothing to wear" anymore and that's a wonderful thing to know! I still have some purging to do, but it will wait, and I think I'm going to put myself on a "one in one out" rule, so that I don't get carried away when SYC is over for me. I'm liking a smallish but fun and efficient wardrobe. It really suits my very organized personality style.

I am thinking that I didn't wear a lot of my stuff nearly enough to make it cost effective, (Cost per wear) so I'm going to seriously think about any future purchases. When I love something I like to wear it a lot at first, but if I have too many things I feel like I am not getting the value out of them that I should for the money I spend.

So, as you can see, I've learned a lot from this little adventure! Thanks ladies, I never would have thought to do this without you!

And as an aside, even with the summer tops ($9.00 and $25.00) I am well under $50.00 spent on clothing for the whole 3 months! Shhhhh! Don't tell hubby! He'll think I can do that *all* the time! LOL

I didn't see a post either, thanks Mo. Well I fell off the wagon but it was for business outfits, not fun clothing for me, so I don't consider it too damaging. I am aching for some spring clothes, and with only two weeks or so to go, I can stick the rest of the time out. I've been keeping busy with my closet purge for Saturday's swap.

I have noticed, I am spending a lot more time at home since SYC and the house is looking far better for it.

I may have just missed it, but I didn't see a post this week. Depending on whether you count necessities, I did either great or not so well. I am now $50 into *next* month's budget rather than strictly SYC through to the end of March! But only $5 of it was a fashion purchase. The rest was compression socks for my ankle that still swells and a lap swimsuit, again for exercise I can do with the ankle. I have been counting all gear and underwear, etc, throughout my yearly budget and I think that is part of why it's been hard to stick with. Running shoes, swimsuits, bras all add up!
I still think I can catch back up to my budget and then stick within it. Afterall, I have much of the gear I needed out of the way already ;)
How are the other SYCer's? Marley, are you the only one left who's not fallen and then climbed back on?
