And February has been a dismal failure, two new blazers purchased (a green one and today's striped one). So it looks like March will have to be a new month to SYC and I now have something new to (hopefully) keep me from further temptation!</p> <p>I will admit though, in the past when I've tried SYC and failed, they were impulse purchases. This time around, both purchases were items that I had wanted for a while and they just happen to come along my way. And I was able to think of multiple items I already had in my closet to pair the new items with. Too many temptations out there, if you allow them to lure you. I've resolved to stay far away from boutiques and shopping malls for the time being. My closet is overflowing with clothes, and I really need to be its number one customer right now. Sooo hard when a new style season has begun and we are surrounded by fresh colours and darling shapes. I try to remind myself that there will always be darling things, but I don't need to own them all! I've been eyeballing striped blazers since they were first mentioned last year, but was concerend that they would date quickly. And the BR blazer came home with me. It has a nice weight to it, long sleeves, and fit my broad shoulders. Plus it was really comfortable, this piece it felt like a knit to me. I took a size 4. I'm usually a S in BR clothing.</p> <p>The ATL blazer was ok, however I did not care for the lower contrast with the white stripe (which is taupe or cream, not bright white) or the 3/4 length sleeves. Also I personally did not find this blazer as comfy as the BR one. I would have taken a size 4 in this if I purchased it. I'm usually a S in ATL clothing.</p> <p>*climbing back on SYC wagon* </p>
