It's funny, I do belt shirts when I wear a-line skirts, but somehow I thought I could get away with untucked, slightly longer shirts with pencil skirts. I realized that another issue I have with the tucking in--at least with this particular skirt--is my feeling that the look is somehow TSFW (Too Sexy For Work :). Does anyone else feel this way about certain pencil skirts? I especially like the fallish outfit with the boots. Don't forget to try it again with darker top and a denim jacket or a dark leather jacket (if you have them). I usually don't tuck in, and instead put a skinny belt over the shirt, slung just a bit below my waist.
