I came home with one of the first suits that caught my eye when I went in there. It’s fantastic having different size options in tops and bottoms. &nbsp;After trying a dozen combinations of patterns, sizes, and colors, I bought this jewel-toned tankini top and a navy blue swim short. I got lots of great advice here while searching for suits a few months ago. I didn’t know what I wanted so I started at a fancy boutique to get a feel for the features that worked for me, then shopped for something less expensive elsewhere. Synne linked to some 2-pieces at H&amp;M that sound like what you’re looking for. You might try Target score something you won’t wear a lot. &nbsp;The prices are good. &nbsp;Size up. &nbsp;They sell a lot of pieces as separates. Another idea is Lands End. &nbsp;They also have a wide variety of styles snd sizes. &nbsp;A friend who swims every day and is about 5’ 6” tall buys their talls&nbsp;so the rise is high enough. Both have tops. &nbsp;You may want to consider protecting your skin from the sun with a rash guard that can be worn with a suit or suits. &nbsp;Don’t forget a sun hat. I have a top from another suit which works, but I don’t like it nearly as well as the one which was lost.</p> <p>I haven’t worn a one-piece for several years because I’ve worried it won’t do my hips any favors. But several one-pieces have caught my eye lately. I may try a few on. I’ve even been considering one of the two-pieces with a higher-waisted bottom.
