I usually get print tops and then solid bottoms to go with them. I bought a few of the miniswim skirts from lands end last year for the bottoms and Freya is my favorite for the tops. They have them at figleaves.com and barenecessities.com.</p> <p>This is one of the bottoms I bought. I get my lap-swimming suits there, and have friends who've bought recreational suits there. Great tankini tops, and most come in "long" as well as "regular" if you don't want your tummy peeking out. Cute shorts options as well as bikini bottoms (and skirt options, too). Lots of solids/prints options.<br /> Later in the season the reviews are helpful to make sure you buy the right size--it is mostly mail order. In the meantime, I was hoping you could help me out with some swimsuit recs! I am going on a beach vacation in a couple of weeks and need a new suit or two. I have looked at Angie's post from last year, but many of her recs are either unavailable now or very limited as far as size and color (I prefer a color other than black).</p> <p>I'm looking for a tankini or a more modest bikini (i.e. bottoms are not too tiny). I am petite but fairly well endowed, so a top with underwire is preferred, although sometimes a soft cup works for me if the support is decent. </p> <p>If anyone's been out there trying on suits and has some recommendations, please let me know! </p>
