I think your board shorts are fine... I think the white stitching is pretty standard for board shorts.. and for what you are needing, I do think you'll feel much more comfortable in them than just swim bottoms.

Mostly chasing kids at the mini water park up the hill and one trip to a big water park where I'll actually get to ride the slides. Very little actual swimming and probably not a whole lot of actual wetness involved (well, other than my butt - sitting in the edge of the zero-entry depth kiddie pool) other than the big water park trip.

As for the shorts, I seem to have lost the tags, so I'm kinda stuck with them, but all the board shorts seem to have the white stitching around here anyway.

Dusty are these for lap swimming, swimming in surf, or lounging around/pool swimming? That makes a big difference in requirements for a swimsuit I find!

Out of the ones you have posted my vote goes for#3. I prefer the thicker straps and the print and colours of this one. As for the shorts, can you find ones without white contrast stitching? That would look sleeker.

Dusty, they are all very nice and you have a great figure, but I wonder if you could do better. The stripes are nice in the third suit, but it would bother me that the stripes don't match up at the sides.

You look to me to be an inverted triangle and I like the shape and color of the blue scoop neck suit on you. My only concern is that it doesn't give you enough support up top. I checked out Land's End swim suits and found this top that I thought was very pretty in aqua blue. It comes in solid, stripes, and a mini dotted print. It also has an underwire bra for added support and is recommended for inverted triangles.

http://www.landsend.com/pp/Bea.....038;sku_0=::HFT&CM_MERCH=IDX_00006__0000000650&origin=index

I also like the coordinating swim shorts.

http://www.landsend.com/pp/Bea.....038;sku_0=::RIB&CM_MERCH=IDX_00006__0000000650&origin=index

I know that Land's End is pricey, but I see that they are offering a promo right now: $10 off a $50 purchase and $25 off a $100 purchase.

I like the last one best. I think it's because of the neckline, the v-neck and more substantial straps. I also prefer that pattern to the others.

Of the three, I think the blue one has the most flattering fit. I looks more comfortable, as well. The other two look a bit tight or binding as they go under your arms. I have similar issues with v-neck swimsuits. I have to size for my small bust, but then end up with a little roll right there at the underarm.

What I do like about the first one is how the colors of the print eventually blend with your bottoms, which is a nice effect, I think.

So, in my perfect world, I would search for a swimsuit styled and cut like the blue one featuring a print like the first one. :)

OR, perhaps a v-neck with more padding that would allow you to size for the rest of your body and give a little boost to the girls? I mean this with love ... I've totally been there!

I like the last one best-- the v-neck is more flattering and the colors are rich on you.

I can't believe I'm doing this but here goes...

I need a new swimsuit. One pieces are difficult to fit for me, so I usually go with a long tankini and wear board shorts with it (with a bikini bottom underneath - but the shorts don't come off so the bottom is not important). Here are the three I've found that I think kind of work. Are any of these any good?

http://s31.photobucket.com/alb.....swimsuits/

password is ylf2010

Thanks!
