I sized up for an easy fit, and realize it could be viewed as loungewear, but I think it may also work for casual day wear pretty well, especially layered under a jacket or blazer. I think it’s a keeper.</p> <p>I decided to try the swim coverup in each of these colors. The blue seems pretty good on me! It’s a bit low cut to wear as a stand-alone dress, but as a swim coverup it works. It’s a bit on the long side — I imagine anyone shorter than 5’6” or so would find it unworkable. For me it works fine as a maxi length with flat sandals. I’m going to try it on again since I just gave it a quick look , but I think it’s a keeper.</p> <p>The green version was not as sage-y IRL, it was a bit warmer in color, but also cut significantly smaller than the blue in the same size! So odd. Tired of black, and white can be too see-through. Prints can clash with my patterned swimsuits.<br /> - some hint of shape, maybe??</p> <p>I just ordered the one pictured below from Nordstrom, on sale, so we’ll see if it works! Has anyone found coverups they particularly love? </p> <p>My low-buy year continues. The only wardrobe item purchased so far is my new puffer. But I did get a new ring in Key West the other day — you can see it in pic 2. The stone and setting was just too unique to pass up, it was not expensive, and since I wear a statement ring every day, I have found rings to be a solid choice for vacation indulgence! :-)</p> <p>Pic 3 is an example of what I wore on vacation — Zara printed shirt, Maria Cornejo pants, and Sorel sneakers, with a canvas tote that came with a pair of Freda Salvador shoes years ago (a great bag for throwing in a bike basket or taking to the beach!). Wore this for a 12- mile bike ride across the island and back to visit a baseball legend who shares a mutual friend with us and insisted we come meet him for a beer. Not the best pic of me, but a fun moment and a good idea of how I’m enjoying dressing for warm weather. </p>
