The top stretches out with wear, and starts sliding down with the least little bit of activity. I found myself constantly hitching the top back up and adjusting, and after a few washings and wearings the problem only got worse. Granted, I've got a lot in the chest department, so asking a strapless top to stay up on my girls is a pretty demanding task, but I imagine the problem would be fairly universal. Although one of my favorite beach coverups is black. It's just a little simple black bamboo knit dress with a v-neck top, and subtle drawstring at the empire waist (which I keep very loose for ease of pulling over my head to put it on), and a very slightly flared skirt that hits at the knee. It's about five years old so it's getting a little faded, but it's perfect for when I want something I'm not worried about messing up. I think I found it at Marshall's or TJMaxx. How hot do the temps get? Black will absorb heat, white reflects it, so you might be hotter (temp. wise!) in the black. And if you're playing beach volleyball, you'll be tripping or falling&nbsp;in the black (that won't make a good impression on your teammates), but maybe not in the white because it scoops up in the front. But then with the black you could roll&nbsp;it/fold over&nbsp;at the waist to make it shorter (that's what I do with mine).<br /><br />OK, so I'm not much help. All I've done is ask questions.
