No. I don't. Trader Joes makes the BEST stollen. I have tried them all over the years - even imported them from Amazon. And the TJ's stollen tastes the most like the stollen I grew up with. I stock up so that we can have stollen all through the holidays.

Do you make your own? I need to find a good source around here (Midwest). I saw some at Trader Joe's but wasn't sure it was going to be good...

Good to hear!

We have our stollen with butter and sugar. It's one of the best parts about Xmas at the Cox Castle.

Thanks, Angie! Although I didn't have time to post here and only read your blog occasionally, all the style recs and tips have been in mind all this time when shopping and getting dressed.

Stollen is also delicious. Imagine with a drizzling of condensed milk!

Isn't condensed milk on hot, buttered white toast DELICIOUS! If we weren't into having stollen for breakfast at this time of year, we would be having that this morning with you.

Glad to hear that the big project is behind you and that you're in a happier place with your style.

This is a toast inspired by Angie. A real bread toast. Last year I learned about toast with condensed milk when Angie went to Hong Kong and wrote about the local treats. Today I woke up with this in mind and had it for breakfast. (I took the liberty to sprinkle pine nuts as a variation)

So, here's a sweet toast to Angie!

PS I have been absent for many months from here as I finished a big professional project. I hope to have more time to participate now. But on the upside, in the last six months, I have gotten out of a multi-year style rut and defrumped myself in almost every way thanks to the inspiration and advice from Angie's posts and from the forum.

Fabulous and sweet holidays to you all!
