This is why I don't buy Sweet Pea tops - I will NEVER look that smokin' in one! I am pretty sure this is how it is meant to fit.

It might be worth at least trying the next size up if you feel uncomfortable in this size. SP tops are so stretchy that it probably wouldn't make a huge difference in fit except to give you a little more comfort. From the photo, though, this looks just fine.

Everyone's point about the straps is brilliant-- and so helpful, because straps are constantly too long for me, so you've saved me a bunch of trouble.

And Angie-- thank you! You made me feel great, AND you made me laugh. I'm going to take your comment to mean that if it is snug, no one's going to notice. =) The top's officially a keeper.

I think it's perfect as is. It's gorgeous on you! Agreeing with Sara that you may have some strap issues if you size up. I would only size up if the body was so snug that it rides up.

Wow! That top is meant for you!

I can't see going up in size - going up would give you extra length overall (if you want that), but it would also give you more length in the straps. Then the neckline would sit even lower (although it would give you more fabric to gather in the center and tack or pin for raising the V)

It's so clingy that I just want to be sure it's sleek and not sausage-like. Also, the fabric's really thin, so it's not going to smooth things out the way a heavier cloth would, and that means I have less wiggle room in terms of flattering fit.

I know the power of dots! The size looks right to me. I know it has a low neckline, but it looks great and I don't think a bigger size would work better. Why do you think you should go a size up?

I ordered the dotted Sweet Pea top (I have no willpower when it comes to dots), and it's finally arrived. I REALLY like that the neckline can be maneuvered to provide a little more coverage (although yes, this is the greater amount of coverage-- still quite low). My only question (and no, it's not a trick question) is: would this be more flattering if I went a size up?

Thanks, ladies!
