Even red and cobalt can look better than black to my eye. Sometimes I wear a dark brown linen open-front cardi and brown bra with the pink dress if it needs a topper. My dress is a lantern shape with no ruffle, so that may make a difference. These are just other ideas of colors to try. I think it's more versatile than the pink, but I'm glad I tried them both.&nbsp;</p> <p>I have a couple other alterations to take to my tailor, so I'm going to add the sage dress to the pile to see if she can take up the shoulders so it reveals a little less bra. I've been wearing the sage around the house for a little bit, and it's roomy enough that it shifts and shows a bit more bra on one side (I am very asymmetrical in the torso so things tend to shift on me and twist a little bit -- lovely scoliosis! ).
