I think the sweater looks great both ways, and I would be tempted to duplicate if another color appeals to you. </p> <p>I think we may have a similar build, and I do favor V-necks rather than crew necks, but crew necks are certainly wearable, just not as super flattering. I will sometimes add a long pendant or a draped scarf to sort of mimic the vertical interest of the V-neck. </p> <p>I avoid fitted ribbed sweaters (32G so they really emphasize too much), but I know that particular sweater got rave reviews from other bustier women. I am still within six months postpartum, and *none* of my old work clothing fit - I am starting from scratch! I move for a new job in a new city (shopping options, yay!) in two weeks, but I need at least a week's worth of mix-and-match capsule items until I can get a sense of my new office culture, climate, and expectations. </p> <p>1-2) I bought this Halogen cashmere and I want to keep it for color alone - it's great color at a great price, lightweight, and I think it works worn over a shirt and worn alone. I also bought it in grey but that may go back after seeing this blue. I didn't think I would like the split hem, but my hips are right at that spot and there is *no* pulling across the hem - so better drape! Does this look flattering over a shirt, though? It feels comfortable both ways. </p> <p>I was also thinking of getting the BR washable Merino crew neck sweater Angie has posted. Has anyone with a larger chest tried it? The knit pattern looks like it might be more flattering for a larger chest than a flat-knit style crewneck.
