No one has mentioned Woolovers! Lots of cuts and different blended yarns in addition to 100% merino. Good prices too.

Thanks everyone -- At least now I have a few brands to try early in the season and rebuy if they hold up :).

I just picked up an inexpensive blend at The Loft. No guarantees on how it will launder, but at $50 plus 40% off, it was easy to try out.

I haven't tried the v-neck, but the quality of their other merino sweaters is good (good in the absolute, fantastic for $20).

I've been really happy with my merino/silk cardigan from Boden, and they make a v-neck in the same yarn.

Here are a few I found, from Eddie Bauer and Nordstrom. Plus one cashmere option.
You're right, it's hard to find Merino! Everything is cashmere.

Lord & Taylor - sold both in Canada and the US, has really lovely fluid-fit merino sweaters in stock right now. Tons of colours too.

In Canada I go for Winners. I find that outlet stores sometimes carry more classic cuts . But you have to be a little lucky to know when they stock it and have patience to look through racks.

My first place to check is usually Nordstrom online. They have so many more options than other stores and I love that free shipping!

After an unfortunate ensemble yesterday with a chunky, cropped, cable knit sweater, I think it's time to move on and accept that I just can't do chunky. I've been on the search for a nice, light merino v-neck sweater -- but of course when you're looking for these, everyone is selling cropped, boxy sweaters.

I've seen a few at JCrew, but I'm very iffy about how they may fit - and they don't carry them in store. Does anyone have any faves?
